Step2 Presentation and discussing　　

After they talk about the favourite activities, T ask: Do you know what my favourite activities are. I don’t like sports, I like what going shopping, do you know what things I like to buy? Let them guess. Then tell them I like different kinds of clothes, Look at me. Is my coat beautiful? Look at my jeans, Are my jeans funky? Are they trendy? It’s nice, but the quality of the jeans is bad, So I want to buy a new one, I choose three clothing you give me some suggestions? Show the pictures of the jeans. And tell them where the jeans are from. Then ask Which is the biggest clothing store in Dangtu? Which is the best ? Why? Give a big piece of paper with a diagram on it.

Give them three minutes to discuss and then give me their ideas.

Step3. Presentation

We talked about going shopping just now, and you know I like buying fashion clothes on weekends. And I have an other hobby, I like easy life. I like listening to the radio, I like listening to music, now here is a piece of music ,listen .Teacher play the tape, then ask the Ss if they like it. Tell them It`s a piece of Jazz music. Tell them Jazz is lively and warm. Ask do you like listening to the radio? Which is your favourite radio station? Then tell them what my favourite radio station is .Tell the why. And say I don`t like All Talk 970 AM, Because it has worse music. And Easy Listening 97.5 FM is the worst of all, because of their commercials.

Step4. Listening

OK, we talk so much about the clothing store and radio station . Let`s go into our unit, Unit 12 What`s the best radio station?Open your book and turn to Page ₇₂ .Part 2a and 2b. Now let`s listen to a dialogue between a reporter and a boy. The reporter is interviewing the boy. Circle the right answers.

Play the tape twice for the Ss listen and circle.

Then check the answers.

Step 5. Role play

Let the Ss role play the conversation of 2c. This part they can talk with their partner for three minutes. Then Ask some pairs to act out.

Step6.Grammar Focus

Give them a big piece of paper with some words. Let them use these words to make sentences. Make sure they can use the Comparison Degree and the Supervision Degree. Devide the Ss into two groups .Let them have a match.

Then let the Ss sum up the points of the Supervision Degree.

Then let them go through Grammar Focus. Teacher sum up.
