1.认知目标
本模块的话题是让学生了解一些电脑方面的知识及如何使用电脑。语法结构是一般现在时
的特殊疑问句学习。词汇主要是与电脑有关的单词。上网是学生感兴趣的活动,借助这一
话题展开讨论,通过讨论让学生掌握一般现在时特殊疑问句的结构与基本用法。

重点:掌握基本词汇,理解课文中出现的一般现在时的特殊疑问句及祈使句。
难点:如何运用一般现在时的特殊疑问句。

Teaching procedures:
Step 1 Warming up and Leading in
1 use the question “Do you like computers?” and “What can you do on the computer?”
(设计意图:使学生对这个课题感兴趣,有为之后的一般现在时的特殊疑问句做铺垫,同时培养学生善于思考,又有利用发散性思维,同时能复习以前上过的词组,激活学生原有知识。)
Step 2 Vocabulary and Listening
1 Show pictures of the parts of the computer and let Ss guess to learn the new words.
2 Let Ss do Activity 1, listen and number the words as you hear them. Before listening, do Activity 3, to learn more new words.
3 Do activity 2, teacher shows the picture, let Ss label the parts of the computer to review the words.
(设计意图:通过展示电脑各部分的照片去学习新单词,这样就更为自观,同时在练习听力的过程中又让学生更加熟悉新单词。在做听力之前,把第三部分处理掉,是因为听力材料中有涉及这两个新单词,所以这是为听力做铺垫。)
Step 3 Reading
1 Let Ss read the dialogue by themselves, and finish Activity 6.
2 Check answers.
3 Teacher read through the sentences and make Ss understand “How do I write my homework on the computer?”
4 Imitate the tape.
5 Read together.
6 Read in groups.
(设计意图:一开始让他们自己做练习6使他们先熟悉课文。通过模仿朗读,让学生感受地道的英文,同时分小组朗读,又能培养学生的朗读兴趣,增加趣味性。)
Step 4 Demonstration
1 Teacher shows the demonstration of How to write the homework on the computer, and say the procedure, to make Ss understand.
2 Teacher does it and Ss say English.
3 Let one student show the procedure, other Ss say English.
(设计意图:教师演示操作过程并让学生理解,这样能增加学生对课文的理解,也能让学生练习口语,巩固电脑操作的英文表达,到最后能复述课文。)
Step 5 Activity 5
1 Teacher read through the words in the box.
2 Let Ss finish the exercise.
3 Let Ss say the answers and check answers.
(设计意图:让学生更加熟悉课文。)
Step 6 Language points
1 Let Ss find the questions in Present Simple in the dialogue.
2 Show some examples.
3 Let Ss do Activity 7, work in pairs, ask and answer.
4 Check answers.
5 Show the other two language points.
6 Read the dialogue again.
(设计意图:知识点讲解,同时穿插进练习,加深理解,也能巩固一般现在时的特殊疑问句。)
Step 7 Homework
1 Read the dialogue as fluently as possible.
2 Write the new words for four times.

Teaching procedures:
Step 1: Warming-up
T: What do you usually do on Sunday?
Ss: Give answers.
T: Well, I often play computer games, too. Except playing computer games on the computer, I also watch TV on the computer. What else do you usually do on the computer?
Ss: Give answers.
T: Do you often do your homework on the computer?
Do you know how to do homework on the computer?
Step 2: Vocabulary
T: OK, let’s learn “ Unit 1 How do I write homework on the computer?”
First, let’s learn the parts of the computer, please look at the pictures on the screen.
( Show the pictures )
What’s this?
Ss: A computer.
T: How many things are there in a computer?
Ss: Give answers.
( Teacher has the students learn the parts of the computer, then play a small game, let Ss have a word competition, let them speak out the English words quickly as they see the words on the screen.)
T: One, two, three… So, there are five things in a computer. Next, let’s learn one by one.
Do you know what it is? Please read after me.
(In the first time, T has the whole class read together, then, let Ss read it one by one)
Step 3: Words game
T: Can you remember these words? Let’s check.
(T shows the pictures of the parts quickly, having Ss speak out the words quickly in the groups.)
T: I will show you the picture of the parts, you must speak out it quickly. The one can speak out quickly and correctly will get on point.
Now the whole class do it first, then I’ll ask some Ss to play this game.
Step 4: Reading & Listening
T: So everyone should remember these words, but do you know how to use these parts to do homework on the computer?
Let’s listen to the tape about the text, then fill in the table on the screen. First, let’s look at the table on the screen.
(Show the table to the Ss)

Step 5: Speaking & Pair work
According to the table, have Ss practice & talk about how to write homework on the computer.
