二 形容词和副词比较级和最高级和用法及注意问题
(一)表示两者之间的比较用比较级。其结构是形容或副词的比较级+than
表示三者以上的比较要用最高级,而且句中要有一个短语或从句表示比较的范围。形容词最高级前要用定冠词。而副词最高级前,定冠词一般省去。

表示两者同等程度比较时用形容词或副词的同级比较.其结构有两种:
1. 肯定形式:as+形容词或副词原级+as

opportunity指一般的机会,特别指对自己有利的机会。例:

解析:“may/might+不定式完成体”都可用来推测过去发生某事的可能性,但“might+完成体“,语气更为不肯定,常有否定意义,即某事可能发生而却未发生,暗含责备意味。本题含义明显:he即使很忙,也有可能给对方更多帮助,然而事实并非如此。“may+完成体”则不具备这种含义。
