Example:

S₁:Could you tell me how to use an English-Chinese dictionary?

S₂:Certainly. When you look up a word in the dictionary, pay attention to the first letter of the word. When two words begin with the same letter, you have to look at the second letter to find the word. If both the first and the second letters are the same, look at the third one and so on.
