Step 1 Greeting

Step 2 Presentation

Tell the students: Today we are going to learn Unit 1, Module 1. (边说边把be going to learn 结构写黑板上,并特别强调.)

Ask: What is he/she going to do at the weekend?

Answer: He/She is going to check her email./have a piano lesson./revise for his test etc. (边问边出示多媒体图片,师生互相问答和个别问答相结合.)

Step 3 Practice

　　 Part 2. Write the phrases under the pictures. Make sure the students can say the phrases quickly and clearly.

Step 4 Listen and answer

　　 Tell the students: We’re going to listen to a dialogue between Daming and Betty.

Then ask: What’ Daming going to do at the weekend? What about Betty?

Ask the students to listen and answer the questions.

After listening，let the students answer the questions：

On Saturday morning，Daming is going to check his email and do his homework. In the afternoon，he’ going to have a piano lesson. In the evening, he’s going to have a party at a friend’s home and listen to some music with his friend.

Betty is going to buy some clothes on Saturday afternoon. She’s going to stay in bed on Sunday morning and revise for her test.
