4. Give students some pictures of meat. Teach them new words beef, mutton, chicken, fish. And ask them What kind of meat would you like ? Help them answer I would like….And give them 2minutes to practice the dialogue with their partners.
Step III Practice
Give students some pictures of food, vegetables, meat. Let them practice it with their partners like this.
A: What kind of noodles would you like?
B: I’d like beef and tomato noodles.
Step IV. Game Time
Let’s play a memory game together. Five students will be a group to practice and remember these 5 sentences and then I ask 5 students to stand in front of the classroom, say these 5 sentences one by one. Let’s have a competition.
Step V. Presentation and Practice.
Show students three bowls of noodles, and teach them small, medium, large. Ask students What size bowl of noodles would you like? Help them to answer I’d like small\medium\large. Then give them 2minutes to practice with their partners.
Step VI. Game.
Describe noodles (kind, size). I have four sentences about noodles. I need four students to stand in front of the classroom one by one, and let him or her to guess what kind of noodles and size bowl of noodles it is. Continue our competition.
Step VI. Show Time
We are in a noodles’ restaurant in China. Here is the menu. Please order noodles you like. Make up a new dialogue with your partner. You should use our target language in this part.

Write this dialogue in your exercise book.

1. Show some pictures of animals to students, review the names of these animals and ask them. What kind of animals would you like? Help them to answer I would like…… then give them 2 minutes to practice with their partners.
