5、Learn some places of interest in Beijing.

①Show the pictures and read.

Eg, Tian’anmen square, the Forbidden City, Beihai Park, the Museums, the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall, ect.

因为这些词是这个单元的难点，很难读，所以边学边多读

②Do a match game

　 把名胜古迹的英文与中文连线，以加深印象

③Look at the pictures in the map the finish Activity 4

　 我把第四部分与对话分开，就让学生看图讲出地名，并找出它的英文，以让学生熟练掌握

4、Learn how to tell positions.

①Look at a map , then ask and answer.

Eg, Is there a bank ?

Yes , there is .

Where is the bank ?

It is next to the supermarket.

②Work in pairs and practice the dialogue.

　 练习这个对话，可以练介词，也可以为下面做铺垫

3、Learn some prep of direction

①Show the pictures and read

Eg, on the right , on the left, next to, between ,on the corner of ,opposite ,in front of, behind

②Play a game

Practice “right and left”

我说英文，让学生做动作并讲出词组，以活跃气氛

③Do some exercises on Page 71 Activity 11.Then check the answers.

2、Show the pictures of some words.

　 ①Ask: Is there a bank in our town ?

②Show the pictures:

Eg. bank, supermarket, swimming pool ,market ,restaurant, park ,bookshop.

Then read these words together.

让学生回顾以前学过的单词，重在记住这些单词

③Listen to the tape and finish Activity 1. Then check the answers.
