Show students pictures of famous people, perhaps cut out of a magazine or a newspaper. Ask them to describe the famous people's characteristics. This can be done orally, with students encouraged to shout out answers, or by writing the characteristics on a sheet of paper. For weaker classes, help students by writing a list of characteristics on the board, which they can then choose from.
