Teaching procedures:
Step 1:
Lead-in Questions:
a) What is the weather like today?
b) What was the weather like yesterday?
c) What will it be like tomorrow?
d) What kind of weather do you like best? Why?
Step 2:
Show the Picture of the weather condition. Go through the pictures one by one. First revise the words that have been taught. e.g. rain→rainy, snow→snowy. Then help the Ss to learn the new words about the weather conditions. Ss finish Part A on Page 98 at the same time. After that, get the Ss to find the rule: We can put a ‘y” after Noun. to change it to Adjective.
Then finish Part B on Page 93
