1、技能目标:学生能听懂本课录音;能听懂师生之间就本课内容而展开的一切形式的问答;会和别人展开对话,了解和传递信息;能将本课重难点理解透彻,灵活恰当运用;无大的语言错误;就类似话题创造性地自编对话,掌握比较级的用法。
《新目标英语》的语言教育理念是:知识用于行动,强调“语言应用”,培养“创新、实践、能力”,发展“学习策略”。那么本节课作为unit4的Section A,教材以How do you get to school?为中心话题,围绕“traffic way”展开,运用一般现在时。Section A与学生的实际密切相关,易于引发学生用英语进行交际交流,完成听说读写的任务活动,我将灵活运用这些活动,将其中的一些活动进行变化或整合。
通过对本课的仔细诊断,把教学策略重点地位在三个教学环节上,即Presentation ,practice and production上,将“激发兴趣,激活思维,轻松导入,读后仿说,逐层训练,强化能力,创设情景,迁移知识,实现目标”作为本课的设计导向。

Tell the students: In this Unit students learn to report what someone said. Pay attention to how to change it.
1a.get the Ss to talk about soap operas in groups. Then answer the four questions in the box.

Look at the pictures . Ask and answer in pairs, then check them.
1b. Listen and number the statements [1-4] in the picture. Then check the answers.

1c, Ss work in pairs, try to ask and answer questions about each picture.

2a First ask different students to read the sentences to the class,then listen and circle true or false for each statement.
2b Listen again. What did the people on TV say? Circle the correct answers.

2c, Ss work in pairs, get some to act out.

Step3 Summarize
Grammar focus, get the Ss to find out the difference between the direct speech and reported speech, then tell what is special about reported speech. Read the verbs aloud.
Step 4 Exercise
3a Read the newspaper story and fill in the blanks, then check the answers.
3a 4 Let the students practice speaking and listening skills in role plays. In groups of four, complete the role plays, then ask several students to present their role plays to the class. Ask the students to vote on the best role play.
Step 5 Homework
Writing practice. Imagine and finish the newspaper article.

本课以日常对话导入,利用丰富多彩的多媒体教学,激发学生的兴趣,将听力与口语训练融入其中,从而强化学生的听说能力。
听说材料采取先提出问题,让学生带着问题听,把握关键词汇,培养速记能力。把握整体教学,然后采取互相对话的形式练习、巩固。词汇和短语在语境中自然接触,很容易让学生领会。教学活动由易到难,设计任务型学习活动,在真实任务中引导学生主动思考,培养学生的创造性思维能力和交际能力。在日常教学中做到理论联系实际,学以致用,体会真实环境下的语言运用。
