You can see two Chinese girls in the two photos. They are Liu Li and Liu Ying. They are twins. In some ways they look the same, and in some ways they look different. They both have black eyes and black hair. Liu Li’s hair is shorter than Liu Ying’s.

Write the phrases “look the same” and “look different” on the blackboard. Point out the two items and give some samples for them.

Explain how to use “both” and give the following examples.
