本节课是借班上课，学生的整体英语语言运用能力偏低，发言不踊跃，由于农村学生的学情特点，本教材对学生就有一定难度。由于缺乏必要的语言基础，学生必定在课堂上不敢发言和交流，所以本节课学生课堂气氛的调动也是一大难点，而生生和师生交流也是一大难点。

运用所学语言能对人物进行肖像描述并掌握描述方法且能根据人物特征推理莫一人物。
