6. 不足之处及改进措施。
第一,笔者在授课时,引入部分所用时间有点长。在介绍两张照片和重点的新单词后,介绍CJ7的背景也花了一定时间。今后,笔者将继续努力,简化教学语言,使之更适合不同层次的学生。
第二,布置任务时使用的指令用语仍需提高。例如,在介绍Interview的任务时,使用了较复杂的指令用语让学生访问不同学生,并且记下互联网的两个优点和两个缺点。个别学生并未明白任务的具体要求,记下了许多优点和缺点。因此,指令用语必须更简练,笔者将多看书,多听课,尤其老教师的课,从中提取经验。
第三,在布置要求较高的任务时,必须给出一个榜样。例如,要求学生在Interview的过程中尽量使用所学过的比较级,但没有给出一个例子,导致有学生没有完全理解任务的要求,并没有使用比较级进行讨论。笔者在今后的教学实践中将不断改进,利用多种方式作为例子,引出任务,使学生完全投入其中。
5. 渗透情感教育,树立正确的价值观。
新课程注重以学生为主体,要求在英语教学中关注学生的情感,重视学生的参与和内部感受。在任务型教学中,任务的设计应符合学生的年龄特点和发展需要,让学生有话可说。而最后,教师应使学生养成和谐与健康向上的品格,有分析、解决问题的能力,树立正确的价值观和人生观。因此,英语课应把语言习得与情感教育结合在一起,实行全人教育。
在本课设计中,笔者大胆地加插了本课的线索--太空狗CJ7,针对初二学生好奇心强和乐于参加小组活动的特点,对教材进行了改编、删减和增补。所有任务都围绕着帮助CJ7解决问题而展开(例如帮忙对比挑选台式电脑和手提电脑,介绍一个有益的网站等),培养学生乐于助人的精神。而Interview的内容为Advantages and disadvantages about Internet和给出合理使用互联网的建议。该任务让学生通过思考与交流,明白如何合理地使用Internet,对学生的实际生活具有较大的指导作用。最后让学生根据讨论所得到的建议,介绍一个网址给CJ7,培养起正确使用互联网的态度,树立正确的价值观。
3. 创建尽量真实的交际环境,提供综合运用语言的机会。
语言学专家认为英语教学的实质是交际。语言知识的教学必须要与语言交际能力的培养相结合。因此,教师在课堂教学设计时,要注意设置有意义的语言情景,安排各类课堂教学活动,如pair work,group work,role play,interview等,引导学生运用所学的语言和知识进行交际。为了使英语课堂教学活动尽量体现真实的交际,教师在创设任务时要设计“信息沟”(information gap),使学生有交际的需要。
笔者把任务灵活地整合,把语言知识有机地穿插在任务环各个环节中,通过组织学生完成任务推进教学进程,进入下一个交际环境。例如,在学生进行interview调查互联网使用的好处和坏处的过程中,要求学生尽量使用比较级,让学生在交际过程中使用本单元所学的比较级,教师板书学生意见时,在黑板上列出、强调比较级;把课本More Practice D中的介绍使用互联网的步骤,用于实际活动中,在学生一边演示、一边回答相关问题,找出打开网页的步骤并且口头表达出来。学生必须把所学的语言知识用于真实的交际活动中,分析问题、解决问题。

The History of the Internet
A research team in the USA first had the idea of linking computers together in the 1960s. They wanted computers in universities, research departments and the military to communicate with each other and share information. At that time, computers were bigger than fridges. People could not move them easily. Computers were also complicated and difficult to use.
Slowly, more and more people started to link their computers together. Then businessmen started to use the Internet too. Today, people all over the world are using the Internet.
There is a wide range of services on the Internet. For example, we can use it to communicate with other people. The most popular way to communicate is through electronic mail, or “e-mail”. We can also use services such as MSN messenger or Skype. We can use these services to send instant messages to people near or far away.
The Internet allows us to use the World Wide Web (also known as WWW or the Web). The Web is many connected pages of information. We can use the Web to read news and learn about our favourite sports stars or singers.
The Internet has changed our lives. Now we can contact the whole world with the computers in our homes.
